The AIG Women’s Open

The AIG Women’s Open 2025 saw the sport’s top golfers arrive to Royal Porthcawl, Wales, for 4 days of elite competition. With Mercedes-Benz continuing as a Patron of the event, we were delighted to continue our role as their activation partner.

This year’s program saw iMedia coordinating on-site sponsorship activations and hospitality programs on behalf of Mercedes-Benz, working with the R&A to bring magnificent experiences to Mercedes-Benz guests in attendance. Additionally, iMedia helped to manage media operations around Mercedes-Benz-sponsored athlete Alexandra Forsterling, organising a photo and film shoot featuring a striking Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV.

This year’s hospitality pavilion overlooked the 1st fairway and 18th green, offering guests excellent views of the challenging first drives and crucial final putts. Windy conditions proved difficult to master, and a thrilling competition went right to the wire, with Miyu Yamashita taking the victory. Mercedes-Benz guests enjoyed luxury dining and service in the Champion’s Pavilion and were treated to extremely close views as they watched the Japanese athlete claim her first major win.

Digital and branding assets, delivered by iMedia, offered Mercedes-Benz significant media coverage exposure. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz cars made up a fleet of 60 vehicles to transport players and VIPs to and from the tournament.
