Brian Harman passed the biggest test of his career on Sunday, enduring a typical English summer day of steady rain and a rocky start to shoot 1-under 70 at Royal Liverpool and win the 151st Open by six strokes.
In 2023 we worked with our suppliers to activate the Mercedes-Benz VIP Patrons Pavilion helping to build a beautifully designed area, accommodating 100 guests a day for 4 days. Alongside this, iMedia also oversaw the Players arrival and the return of the Claret Jug by the previous Open Champion while showcasing the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX. During The Open period iMedia also oversaw the EQ House Exhibition in the Tented Village and implemented the courtesy car service made up of over 100+ Mercedes-Benz vehicles for the players and VIP’s transport needs.
Mercedes-Benz customers from all over the world arrived to take part in this bespoke 6 day VIP programme which included: all transportation needs in a VIP Mercedes-Benz courtesy car service, daily access to the VIP Mercedes-Benz hospitality suite, an opportunity to play a round of golf to qualify for 8 coveted spots to play at Royal Liverpool on the Monday after the Championship, and bespoke evening entertainment each night including a Q&A with golfing legend and 5 time Open winner Tom Watson. Another wonderful event was had with many delighted VIP customers returning to their international destinations having had this once in a lifetime experience.
